2 million Xbox One consoles sold

Xbox One since the appearance on the market on 22nd November bought more than two million players, Microsoft confirmed. Statistics says that since the release of the console every day was sold 111,111 copies.

Along with publishing sales results Microsoft has released some interesting data that say that the players from the release of gaming consoles, on viewing of TV content and watching movies spend 83 million hours and during that time unlocked 39 million achievements.

Xbox One in November appeared on store shelves in 13 selected countries, and in other officially supported countries will appear early next year. We should mention that both PS4 and Xbox One sold in over 1 million copies in first 24 hours after arriving on the market, so it will be interesting to see who will overcome after a few more months.

[Ed - Microsoft's new console is doing well despite early and ongoing concerns from publishers and even consumers. What will be interesting is to see if this trend continues once the boxes are in the hands of the consumer and are in use...]
