AMD has once again lowered the price of processors from the line FX-9000, the company's flagship chips for overclockers and enthusiasts. Company in the US FX-9000 series of processors only sells to PC manufacturers, but on European soil they had been available to interested buyers in several online hardware stores.

AMD cut the prices a month ago of this originally (very) expensive chips, and the new correction makes them more accessible to customers who are looking for processors from mainstream segment, and not the absolute top of the range where the FX-9000 series (atleast price-wise) for now competes with Intel HEDT platform.

Model AMD FX-9370 that comes with 8 cores, basic clock rate of 4.4 GHz (Turbo 4.7 GHz) and 16 MB of cache now goes forbetween 200 and 270 euros, while even faster FX-9590 (4.7 GHz basic tact, 5 GHz Turbo Core) can be purchased at a price between 270 and 300 euros, depending on the distributor. Both chips have a 220 W TDP and are based on current Vishera architecture.
