Asus VivoPC is here

From Asus comes notice of commencement of sales of miniature computer called VivoPC. This little computer is ideal for applications where space is a problem, and to use with home theater systems.

The computer is equipped with a 1.5GHz Celeron 1007U with two cores and Intel integrated graphics, 4 GB of RAM, and a 500-gigabyte drive with plates spinning at 7200 rpm. From connections there are VGA and HDMI video outputs, Ethernet, S/PDIF audio output, two USB 3.0 and four USB 2.0 ports, and a memory card reader. Housing dimensions are 19x19x5.6 inches and it weighs 1.2 kg.

The computer comes with 64-bit Windows 8, and the recommended retail price for the US market is $320.
