Having reported a quarterly loss of $ 4.4 billion, the BlackBerry has realized that the time has come to reduce the payments in the 2014.

As a result of the new decision to save they canceled two lower classes phones that were developed under the code names Cafe and Kospi, while development of more premium phones (Ontario and Windermere) has not been canceled. Saving has affected BlackBerry Live Conference that was supposed to be held during the 2014. Instead, the BlackBerry will next year hold a number of smaller thematic meetings across the world.

New BlackBerry CEO John Chen, announced that the first lower class phone (codename Jakarta) which is a result of cooperation between Foxconn and BlackBerry should arrive in April next year.
