The Corsair Vengeance K60 and M60 are a first person shooter inspired combo of keyboard and mouse. The K60 keyboard is mechanical and features Cherry MX Red switches, while the M60 mouse has 8 programmable buttons and features a 5700 DPI laser sensor. I'm pretty anxious to see how they will perform, so read along to see how they stack up to the competition!

"The time I spent with the Corsair Vengeance M60 and K60 has been very positive. They are both very comfortable and ergonomic. The wrist wrest on the K60 could stand to be longer, perhaps the full length of the keyboard. It’s hard to adjust coming from a keyboard that has a wrist wrest and then going to the K60 which only provides a rest for the left arm on the WASD keys. I understand this though, with it being an FPS motivated keyboard. The 20 key rollover is extremely nice, but something that I personally will never fully utilize but I’m sure that there are plenty of people out there who are more than capable of taking advantage of that..."

Admit it. You've often wondered what would happen if you took an SSD controller, like the SandForce SF-1200, crammed it into a thumb drive with gobs of NAND and let it run wild with an eight channel architectural design. Well, now you no longer have to wonder because we'll show you what happens when we put the USB 3.0 Express RC8 50GB flash drive from Super Talent to the test.

"In terms of performance, while we never did get the drive to hit the rated 270MB/s reads and 220MB/s writes, we came very close. Still, it's very cool to be able to plug into a USB 3.0 port and move huge amounts of data with ease in no time at all. We were able to stream high-definition video with nary a hiccup. Even with the turbo software in normal mode, this drive cooks but with turbo enabled it's simply amazing..."

ECS is not a new comer to the PC market by any means. Today we have one of their latest entries into the Intel Motherboard market. The ECS Z77H2-AX Black Extreme 'Golden Board' is built with the extreme user in mind. It features the latest Intel Z77 Express chipset with all of the bells and whistles! How will the ECS Z77H2-AX Black Extreme stack up? Read on to find out!

"The ECS Z77H2-AX Black Extreme 'Golden Board' is without a doubt a very unique looking motherboard. It doesn't have the weapon type theme that we have seen on several other unique boards in recent history, but the gold on black color scheme did grow on me. I wasn't wild about it at first, but as I used the Z77H2-AX over the past few weeks and had it sitting on my test bench, I really began to like the look of it. Though unfortunately looks won't carry a board, it also has to have the performance. The ECS Z77H2-AX Black Extreme retails for $309.99, with a price tag at that level, it darn well better have performance to spare..."

"Giving the specifications of the Rosewill R5 chassis a quick look through, we start to get an idea of what the R5 chassis has to offer us. One of the main things that I personally like about the Rosewill R5 chassis is that this particular chassis can handle up to six HDDs, and they can be either the 3.5” HDD or the smaller 2.5” HDD/SSD, or a combination of a little bit of both. For cooling, the Rosewill R5 chassis can handle up to ten 120/140mm fans..."

Kingston did a fabulous job with their HyperX SSD, earning our Editor's Choice award last year. They've taken that same formula, dropped the endurance of the NAND along with the price, and give it a little different color scheme to offer up the HyperX 3K drive. How does it compare in performance to the original HyperX drive as well as the other drives we've tested? Take a peek to see!

"The benchmark results on the Kingston HyperX 3K 240GB SSD came out very much as we expected. Performance nearly mirrors that of the Kingston HyperX 5K drive and places itself amongst the best drives we have tested. The read/write specifications of 555MB/s and 510MB/s respectively are good to start with but we saw the writes exceed that specification in the ATTO benchmark by an additional 24MB/s. Real world scores were very good as well and since we've spent several months using the 5K drive in one of our 24/7 systems without incident, we expect to see the same consistent performance from the 3K drive..."

The event was held over a three day period on the campus of California Polytechnic University of Pomona and hosted by Gigabyte (of course!) with appearances by some top pro-gamers. The event also hosted the LANFest sponsor the Bring Your Own Case where enthusiasts participated in mini-tournaments with tons of prizes. And when we say ‘tons’, it seemed like they were giving stuff away every hour in both the LANFest pavilion and Tournament area."
