Corsair Vengeance Extreme is really extreme

Corsair has introduced the Extreme Vengeance DDR3 memory kit, which is currently the fastest available memory module. It is a dual-channel DDR3 memory kit with two plates of 4 GB (8 GB total) that run on a standard clock speed of up to 3000 MHz at voltage of 1.65 V and 12-14-14-36 latency.

It is a dual-channel DDR3 memory kit with two plates of 4 GB (8 GB total) that run on a standard clock speed of up to 3000 MHz at voltage of 1.65The company supplied the kit with Kingpin Cooler refrigerator for cooling with liquid nitrogen, designed for enthusiasts who wish to achieve the clock speed of 3 GHz and beyond. Corsair points out that in order to achieve the advertised speed it is necessary to have a motherboard with Intel Z77 chipset and the unlocked version of the third-generation Core processors (Ivy Bridge) - as an example of these boards they took Asus P8Z77-I Deluxe and Asrock Z77 OC formula.


If you are interested in this memory kit, evidently designed for record-breaking, be prepared to pay a hefty sum of $750.
