Reading time is around minutes.

One of the first models that proved that mechanical keyboards don't have to be ugly was without a doubt Das Keyboard. These days they announced the availability of the fourth generation of their keyboards.

As before, the Das Keyboard 4 comes in two versions. Professional one with markings on the keys and Ultimate which comes unmarked. Both keyboards offer mechanical switches underneath the keys, and again they come in two versions, Cherry MX Blue for loud typing, or Cherry MX Brown for the muffled sound, and tactile sensation. The novelty compared to the previous model is a built-in USB 3.0 hub compared to USB 2.0 , and now only one port is needed on computer to connect the keyboard to, instead of two as it was the case before.

Also important, it includes a ruler that is reinforces with the magnet underneath the keyboard, and in addition to lifting, it provides slip protection (this problem is expressed in the previous version of the keyboard). They also included a small wheel for volume control and other buttons to control the playback of multimedia. The recommended price of the keyboard for the U.S. market is around $170.
