On thier official blog Mozilla representatives announced that they will award those who have a good idea for an application and skills to develop it with a free copy of the development unit based on the Firefox OS. Developers are expected to place their applications to Firefox Marketplace prior to the official issuance of the first device, which is expected during the summer.
Mozilla has introduced the first deployment examples of devices based on the Firefox OS at the Mobile World Congress show in February.
