Galaxy Lite as an answer to cheaper iPhones?

According to the site SamMobile, Samsung could soon offer a new line of devices from the Galaxy line in a somewhat lower price segment. In preparation are the Lite editions of popular devices. Specifically, at the fair Mobile World Congress in February, Samsung will reportedly introduce the Galaxy Note 3 Lite and Galaxy Grand Lite.

The Note 3 Lite will have an LCD screen instead of OLED screens with a diagonal between 5.5 and 5.7 inches. The device will have a weaker camera , and should be available in black and white. Grand Lite will have a 5 inch WVGA resolution LCD screen, 1.2 gigahertz processor, a gigabyte of RAM, 8GB of flash memory and a slot for microSD memory cards. The rear camera will have a resolution of five megapixels , while the front one will have VGA resolution, the device is supplied with a battery of 2100 mAh.

In preparation was allegedly tablet Galaxy Tab Lite 3 too, which should be launched by the end of January. The specifications are still missing, but the recommended price of tablets in Europe will be around 100 euros, sources say.
