HTC M8 will be the successor of HTC One

Written by

Reading time is around minutes.

HTC is preparing a successor of the HTC One for the next year, which is codenamed M8. Unofficial information already listed and the results of some tests, so we got the information that the M8 in AnTuTu benchmark supposedly achieved over 36,000 points putting it ahead of the current Android smartphones from other manufacturers.

This information, of course, should be taken with a reserve because of the recent incidents with fake results. It is likely that the M8 will be based on the new generation of 4 or 8 core processors. As a logical choice to succeed One, imposive four-core Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset S800 or S805 clocked up to 2.5 GHz come in mind, however, which are sufficient for superior performance and market competitiveness.

Official specs of the new HTC's smartphones are as expected not yet available, the same goes for price and more precise date of availability.
