HTC One Mini officially launched

HTC today officially unveiled a new of their flagship device HTC One. Now officially known as the HTC One Mini, the new device brings the 4.3'' screen with 720p Super LCD screen, unlike his older brother who has a 1080p screen. As for the specs, the device has a dual-core processor clocked at 1.4 Ghz, 1 GB of RAM and 16 GB of memory storage that can not be upgraded.

By comparison, older and stronger HTC One is based on the quad-core running at 1.7 Ghz, 2 GB of RAM and 32 or 64 GB of memory that is also not upgradeable. The battery is 1800mAh compared to 2300 mAh from the bigger model. The design and overall look of the device has not been changed, except that it now comes in a smaller size and lower weight, which will make it easier to manage the device with only one hand. Stereo speakers come with the BoomSound option, there is also the UltraPixel sensor on the camera and LTE support that HTC One has is also available with the Mini model.

[Ed - News of the HTC One Mini comes as Apple is ramping up there media push and as Samsung is encountering some consumer disatisfaaction with the Galaxy S4. Between this and the full-sized one HTC might be able to grab a little market share and perhaps dig themselves out of the financial hole they have gotten in. At least, we hope they are able to. The more companies are in the game the more the consumer benefits...]
