Huawei launches the Ascend G615

Huawei finally decided to enter the high end smartphone market. After the Ascend P1 made fairly good success they are now bringing something more powerful to compete with Galaxy S3, iPhone 5 and company.

Huawei has now officially unveiled the Ascend G615, smartphone with solid features and an even better price. The device has a quad core 1.4 GHz processor, a gigabyte of RAM and 8 GB of flash memory expandable with microSD cards.

The screen has a diagonal of 4.5 inches and a resolution of 1280x720 pixels (330 ppi), it should also be mentioned that the background camera has 8 megapixel resolution and comes with dual LED flash while the front one has the resolution of 1.3 megapixels. Huawei in G615 installed battery of a 2150 mAh, and the smartphone will initially ship with Android 4.0 ICS, while an upgrade to the Jelly Bean should be available in March. The device will go on sale in Germany next month at a price of 299 euros.
