The International 2 is finished, and we have new champions, Invictus Gaming! After 3 days of play, only 2 teams were left in the Grand Finals with 1 million dollars on the line. Former champions Natus Vincere from the Ukraine against the Chinese team Invictus Gaming. They faced each other just a few hours before the finals in Winners bracket round 3. Na'Vi came out on top with a 2-1 score. Na'Vi then faced LGD, another Chinese team in the Winners bracket finals and defeated them also with a 2-1 score. iG had to go through the losers bracket, and after they defeated EHOME, DK and LGD (all Chinese teams) they were in the Grand finals against Na'Vi. This time it was a “best-out-of-5“5 game, and they came out on top winning $1 million with a score 3-1.

In the first Grand final game, iG dominated from the very beginning. Their early aggression won the game, leading to an 18-8 in hero kills. they got to the middle barracks after only 23 minutes, and after five more minutes and taking the bottom lane too Na'Vi called “GG“.

In game 2, Na'Vi responded well to early aggression from iG and with Naga Siren – Dragon Knight Combo won the game. They created a huge gold lead and when they decided they were ready, just went for the base, iG had no chance of defending it.

Game 3 marked another dominating play of iG, they played much better as a team, and easily picked out Na'Vi heroes in non-stop ganking action. MVP in this game goes to player Faith from iG who managed to create so many ganks with a Disruptor to create the needed advantage. Also iG.Zhou did great on Lone Druid farming early Radiance and having 578 gold per minute.

Game 4 looked like it may go in Na'Vi's favor, but as soon as iG.ChuaN on Tidehunter hit level 6, things started to turn around. With their team setup, iG had great wombo-combo and just walked over Na'Vi in the final game. Their superior positioning, Tidehunter's Refresher's Orb (refreshes all of cool downs on a hero, allowing him to cast ulti twice), and Naga Siren stealing Aegis got the win.

iG won The International 2, the biggest eSport tournament in the world and goes home with $1,000,000, while Na'Vi got $250,000 for the second place. After this tournament we can say without any doubts that China has the best Dota 2 teams, they had 3 in the top four! DK from China placed 3rd ($150,000) and LGD-Gaming, again from China, placed 4th ($80,000). You can watch all of the VOD's from this tournament on the Dota 2 official YouTube channel, and maybe learn some new moves to improve your MOBA knowledge. There were over a 500,000 spectators watching the finals, not bad for a beta game.
