Kingston HyperX becomes a global sponsor of Intel Extreme Masters Season 8

Kingston, the world's largest independent manufacturer of memory products decided to improve their sponsorship of the eSports and have become global sponsor of Intel Extreme Master for its 8 season. So far they focused more on sponsorship of organizations that have professional teams like Team SoloMid, Evil Geniuses, World Elite, Taipei Assassins and many others in games like Starcraft, DotA2, League of legends etc, but also some major eSports events like DreamHack, IGN Pro League, NASL and others.. The Intel Extreme Masters will take place in New York, Singapore, Sao Paulo and the final will be played in Poland. Kingston will be providing their memory modules for more than 120 elite pro gaming systems to meet the requirements of all professional gamers.

The whole thing was officially announced at the ChinaJoy World Mobile Game Conference in Shanghai, China. Annie Leung from HyperX Global Strategic Marketing told us „It is a very exciting time for Kingston HyperX as we align ourselves with one of the world’s leading eSports tournaments to deliver top-quality competitions paired with the highest performance hardware to gamers around the world“. IEM is a global pro gaming tour which was first held in 2006, and over 7 seasons gamers were awarded with more than $3.5 million in prize money. Every season more than 20 million unique viewers are watching the event via Twitch TV, and you will also be able to do the same this season.

It is important to note that beside this big step forward in sponsorship, there are 2 very important things for Kingston going on right now. Those are the 25th anniversary of Kingston entering the memory industry, and 10th anniversary since the first HyperX high-performance memory module was released back in November 2002. Because of this celebration Kingston will be giving tons of their products like HyperX memory modules, solid-state drives and USB flash drives.
