Leaked video showing Windows Phone 8.1

by on03 April 2014 1383 times

On the webstie Windows Phone Central appeared the video for which is believed to show the latest update for Microsoft's mobile OS Windows Phone 8.1. If you believe in what you see in the material, the new WP will get the start screen with the corresponding background images, which will have additional customization options the user wishes.

Background to this screen can be set from one of the offered image, but also your own images from Facebook, OneDrive or the ones you take with the device itself. As far as visual supplements, Windows Phone 8.1 should bring the parallax effect, visible in the movement of WP tiles up or down. This apparently secretly recorded and quite modest video does not reveal much information about the new system, but the same source says that the WP 8.1 is already shipped to manufacturers of mobile phones and is expected to hit the market in late April.

The first devices that will be sold with a new version of this system should be Nokia Lumia 630 and Lumia 930. Some of the most important features that will come with WP 8.1 are Cortana (Microsoft's supposedly much more advanced alternative to Siri), Action Center (notifications), Battery Sense, support for 2K resolution, USB OTG and improved camera, which was great anyways.
