Meet the Xperia Z Ultra

The Xperia Z Ultra is a new phablet on the market. This giant from Sony has a 6.4-inch screen in full HD resolution. Consistent with previous rumors, Xperia Z Ultra is the manufacturer's first smartphone that uses the screen technology called Triluminous, which first appeared on the company's upper class HDTVs and later in ultrabooks.

According to the manufacturer, thanks to this display offers vivid colors and sharpness is additionally improved by X-Reality technology. The screen is responsive to any stylus but also to an ordinary pen, according to a press release.

 

Xperia Z Ultra comes with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor with four cores and clock speed of 2.2 GHz, and the Adreno 330 graphics. The device itself weighs 212 grams and the thickness is only 6.85 mm. It is supplied with 16GB of internal flash memory, and through the slot for microSD memory card capacity will be expanded up to 64 GB. The camera has a resolution of eight megapixels, while the built-in battery has a capacity of 3,000 mAh. The device is water resistant and will come with Android 4.2 Jelly Bean. Shipping will start during the third quarter.
