Unnamed Halo player just had to send a letter to Microsoft to inform them about this “incident”. Microsoft then issued a statement that they have no contract with Liberty Ammunition that manufactures mentioned ammunition, nor any other, and that they contacted the company and demanded removal of all links with the game Halo.

Liberty Ammunition clearly understood that there is no fooling around with Microsoft and they agreed without objection, so that now ammunition bears the name Liberty Ammunition Civil-Defense. Although Halo is a pretty hardcore first person shooter, it is obvious that Microsoft does not want to be associated with the actual weapon, which is not surprising given the recent tragic shootings in the U.S.
