Microsoft has finally released a version of their famous Office tools for mobile devices based on Android. Office Mobile for Android devices, brings an optimized support for Word, PowerPoint and Excel. On mobile devices, it is possible to create new Word and Excel documents, edit existing Word, PowerPoint and Excel documents, it has a special presentation mode for PowerPoint, offline editing, viewing and editing of Office documents from e-mail attachment.

Support has been added to SkyDrive, Microsoft's service for storing data in the cloud and the entire application is synchronized with the service so that the document that the user has started on the PC will immediately become available at the menu of recently launched documents within the application.

Finally we must mention that it is not free. In order to be used, users must pay a subscription fee for the Microsoft Office 365 service, which amounts to $100 per year. The application is currently available in the U.S., and for the rest of the world it will be available in the coming weeks.
