It is now scheduled that the new design should be implemented in the regular upgrade of Mozilla's browser available for all platforms and operating systems within next three months. Major changes in the design brings a user interface similar to what we have seen in Google Chrome, and the trademark Firefox icon is removed from the upper left corner. Instead, in the upper right hand corner comes the „Settings“ labeled with three horizontal lines, which opens up a huge menu obviously adjusted for work on a touchscreen.
Among the new functionalities they introduced of a unique log-in system and data synchronization among multiple devices of the same user. For more details about the whole process, see the accompanying promotional video.
