Canon today announced two new models in their line of basic DSLR cameras aimed at a broad market - EOS 700D and EOS 100D. With new models they also presented one standard zoom lens, the EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 IS STM. Both new models offer an eighteen megapixel resolution and are controlled via the touch screen.

The EOS 700D is the most advanced ever launched Canon model from EOS line designed for a wide market. It is characterized by shooting at 5 fps, a wide angle autofocus system with nine focusing points and multi-angle LCD touch screen Clear View II. EOS 100D is the smallest and lightest ever produced APS-C DSLR camera (according to Canon’s Research), and offers a number of built-in controls and guides through the features, which is great for users who want to enter the world of DSLR photography.

With all this, Canon has introduced two new advanced PowerShot SX models - the PowerShot SX280 HS and PowerShot SX270 HS. These models blend new Canon image processing technology DIGIC 6 and 20x optical zoom, so they are suitable for recording various themes, from panoramic landscapes to family vacations, with the ability to shoot Full HD video with a 60p resolution. Wi-Fi is implemented on the PowerShot SX280 HS, and allows you to connect to other devices, such as tablet devices, personal computers and smart phones.
