According to a research conducted by Agawi, Apple's iPhone 5 is twice as fast in reaction to the touch screen compared to the fastest devices based on Android.

In their performance measurement called TouchMarks, iPhone 5 has responded to the touch within an average of 55 milliseconds versus 85 milliseconds for iPhone 4. The fastest device based on Android, the Samsung Galaxy S4 had a response time of 114 milliseconds, while the Nokia Lumia 928 corresponded to touch after an average of 117 milliseconds.

The company began to do this measurements as part of their job related to games for Facebook based on Flash, which are delivered as interactive "streams" to devices based on iOS. TouchMarks measures the reaction speed of the device at the touch of users with devices called Touchscope, which has an accuracy of plus or minus 4 milliseconds.
