Acer C270 Chromebook

Acer unveiled the Acer C270 Chromebook, successor of last year's model C7 with the new Intel Haswell architecture. Latest C270 is a laptop from series of lightweight and thin devices based on Google's operating system, Chrome OS.

The hardware consists of the Intel Celeron 2955 processor based on Haswell architecture, 4 GB of RAM and 16 GB of SSD storage. Google has also offered 100 GB of additional space for two years through its cloud service Google Drive. The screen is 11.6 inch with a resolution of 1366x768 pixels.

The battery will last around 8 and a half hours which is an improvement over the previous model C7. Also, the C720 is 30% lighter than its predecessor and weighs 1.25 pounds, while its thickness is 19 millimeters. By year's end there will be a few more configuration of Chromebook released, until then Acer C270 Chromebook will be sold at a price of $249.99.
