Last year, AMD decided to reward future owners of the Radeon HD 7900 and 7800 series with free keys for Far Cry 3, Hitman Absolution, Sleeping Dogs and a discount for Medal of Honor: Warfighter. Satisfied with the results of those actions, this year they created a new one, with an even better range of popular gaming titles.

Buyers of Radeon HD 7950 and HD 7970 in the new campaign will get serial keys for Crysis 3 and Bioshock Infinite while buyers of cheaper cards from the 7800 series will get the key for Bioshock Infinite and the new Tomb Raider. If you decide to purchase two HD 7900 cards or some special card that has two HD 7900 chips, AMD will give you a total of six games - Crysis 3, Bioshock Infinite, Tom Raider, Far Cry 3, Hitman Absolution and Sleeping Dogs .

It does not hurt to mention that all new titles boast new DirectX 11 effects. This is particularly evident in the context of Tomb Raider in which we can find so far unused DX11 technology as AMD has mentioned.  DX11 is still not fully utilized [as we have said before –Ed] and there is more to be announced at some future press conferences. It should be noted that the free games offered through buying AMD cards will be available only through select stores that are AMD's partners in this action.

[Ed – This move brings back the great days when software was used as a value add. I can remember getting Turok with graphics cards and many other games. It is nice to see this come back.]
