LG to release the F70 smartphone with only 512 MB of RAM

Reading time is around minutes.

Google's statement that the latest Android (KitKat) is so optimized that it represents an excellent solution for smart phones with small amounts of memory,  LG took very seriously and now they will offer a smarthone with 512 MB of RAM.

LG decided to take a step backwards by selecting the quantity of internal memory and a resolution of front camera through which you should perform video calls. While only 4GB of internal memory can expand to an additional 32 GB via micro SD card, video calls are doomed to a camera that has only VGA resolution. Fortunately the rest of the components are „modern“, but far from latest trends. LG F70 comes with a quad-core Snapdragon 400 processor clocked at 1.2 GHz, 4.5 inch IPS display (resolution 400x800 with a pixel density of 199 ppi), a battery of 2440 mAh, rear camera of 5 MP which is equipped with autofocus function and LED flash.

According to LG's specifications of this phone in addition to Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and microUSB 2.0 there is also support for NFC and LTE networks. The operating system that runs this mix of components is KitKat Android version 4.4.2. So far, price for this model is not yet known, and it should arrive on the market by the end of the first quarter of this year.
