New smartphones from Lenovo coming in 2014

Lenovo introduced several new smartphones including its first device that supports LTE called Vibe Z. It is also the model with the best specifications, it has 5.5 inch screen with a resolution of 1920x1080 pixels and 400 ppi. The processor is a quad-core Snapdragon 800 with 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of storage. Support for the latest 802.11ac Wi-Fi and the aforementioned LTE 4G network is also included. The rear camera is a 13, while the front one is 5 megapixel. The unit boasts with a quality "premium" casing with coating of titanium, weighs only 147 grams, while being 7.9 millimeters thick.  It will be sold at a price of  $549.

The second model is the 6 - inch S930, with a screen resolution of 1280x720 pixels. The device can be used in two ways; as a smart phone or as a tablet. The third model, S650 has a 4.7 inch screen with a resolution of 980x540 pixels. As for other specifications, the S930 and S650 have MediaTek processors, two slots for SIM cards, 8GB of storage and an 8 megapixel rear camera.

Last presented model A859 has a 5 inch screen with a resolution of 1280x720 pixels, quad core MediaTek processor, 8 megapixel rear camera and two slots for SIM cards. From operating systems Vibe Z will use Android 4.3, while the others use Android 4.2. All devices will be arriving on the market during of 2014 in Europe, Asia, Central and South America.

[Ed - We hope to catch up to Lenovo while we are here at CES 2014 in Las Vegas. We will get more information on these new phones and maybe (just maybe) get a small amount of hands on time with them...]
