OnePlus One to come with Sony CMOS sensor

Chinese company OnePlus announced its smartphone. It will have 13 megapixel rear camera with Sony's Exmor IMX214 CMOS sensor that has an opening aperture at f/2.0. To prevent any distortion optics consists of six lenses that will also serve to enhance the color and image quality.

They also added the optical image stabilization via the Image Stabilization Plus (+IS). The camera can record video footage in 4K resolution or "slow motion" video in 720p resolution at 120 fps. At the front of the device will be 5 megapixel camera.

Among other specifications, the device delivers 5.5 inch screen with a resolution of 1920x1080 pixels, quad-core Snapdragon processor 800 running at 2.3 GHz, the 3100 mAh battery power and housing made of aluminum. The operating system is a very popular Android modification, CyanogenMod. The exact price and release date of OnePlus One device on the market will be announced later, but for now rumors are that it will be under $400.
