Rob Hodson from Electronic Arts via Twitter said that FIFA 14 on PC will not be based on the recently discovered engine Ignite. Specifically, Ignite remains reserved exclusively for the Xbox and PlayStation 4 One, and PC this time remains aloof.

FIFA is currently the only EA Sports series that continues to come to PC every year. For example, the last NBA Live on the PC came out in 2007, and in 2008. on the PC was released NHL 09. Since then, new editions of the above titles are available exclusively on consoles, but only new FIFA still comes out every year for the PC too.

Ignite has been found in the recent presentation of Xbox One, and EA Sports has confirmed that the new engine will be the foundation for all their future sport simulations, such as NBA Live 14, EA Sports, UFC or the new Madden NFL.
