Nvidia above the expectations

For its first fiscal quarter, which ended on April 28 for the company,Nvidia reported a better-than-expected operating results. The total revenues of the company ere $954.7 million, a decline of 14% compared to the previous quarter, but an increase of 3.2% compared to $924.9 million company had achieved in the same period a year earlier.

Analysts were expecting sales of around $940 million. At the same time profit rose 29% from a year earlier, from $60.4 million to $77.9 million. The Nvidia says that the good results were achieved thanks to successful release of processors based on the Kepler architecture. Also, the upcoming release of the first devices based on Tegra 4, should make another significant growth for Nvidia in the field of mobile devices.

Nvidia expects continued positive business in the future, and for the current quarter they announced totat revenues of $975 million.
