Quasar IV cipherphone IndieGoGo campaign

Company QSAlpha launched a campaign on IndieGoGo crowdfunding service in which they intend to raise $3.2 million for encrypted mobile device with a high level of security. Quasar IV device is the first cryptographic mobile device specifically designed to protect the digital identity of the user.

The device offers an unprecedented level of cryptographic security through military-grade encryption. Operating System device is QuaOS which represents a hybrid of three different operating systems (Android, Linux and Quatrix), but is mainly based on the latest version of Android numbered 4.3. As for the hardware, device should have a 5'' 1080p IGZO screen, inside the device is quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor running at 2.3 GHz, 3GB of RAM, two rear 13-megapixel camera for high-quality display. All this will run on the battery of 3300 mAh.

The first 950 customers that will allocate $495 or $665 for their own device which comes with 64 and 128 GB of storage will get their devices in April 2014.
