Sony working to put a mirrorless camera out, the a6000

Sony Alpha a6000 is a new mirrorless camera that comes in place of the model NEX-6. It comes in a compact body measuring 120x67x45 mm with a weight of 344 g (without lens).

The camera has a sensor with a resolution of 24.3 megapixels with BIONZ processor X, and offers a sensitivity range of ISO 100-25600. One of the features of the camera is autofocus speed, and according to the manufacturer, this is the fastest AF system in the world (among cameras with an APS-C sensor and interchangeable lenses). Maximum speed of continuous shooting with focus tracking of the subject is 11 frames per second, swivel background screen has a diagonal of three inches and displays the image in 921,000 dots, and an OLED electronic viewfinder image displays 1.44 million pixels.

The recommended retail price of the camera for the US market is $650 for the camera body, or $800 in combination with the 16-50 f/3.5-5.6 lens.
