After the spectacular performances at CES and later at MWC which secured them place among the best-selling brands of mobile devices, Sony is planning to apply the same recipe at the upcoming IFA in Berlin. So for the next week they scheduled a huge premiere, immediately before the start of the Berlin Fair, at which they will present next flagship smartphones, code-named Xperia Honami, real name (probably) Xperia Z1.

The device, according to rumors, should be significantly improved version of Xperia Z. Even more elegant 5-inch waterproof device will now have a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 chipset and a full HD screen with much better contrast, but the main bait for customers should be his background camera which comes in a resolution of 20.7 megapixels. Today, Sony announced one in a series of teaser photos of this device, which shows how the background camera lens is marked with the letter G. Sony uses G lens series of lens in their DSLR's and digital cameras which are much more demanding devices from smartphones, when we come to shooting.

In addition to this, Sony should, according to rumors, present the camera in the form of a roll or lens, which is "mounted" on smartphones, using their screen as a viewfinder and OS to run the software, with which they hope to start a new revolution in the lucrative market symbiosis of smartphones and cameras.
