According to the first unofficial measurement of performance of the new Intel's "system on a chip" for mobile devices, which is being developed under the codename Bay Trail, it should be faster than any currently available commercial solution.

According to the results of the measurements made by AnTuTu benchmark which appeared on the Internet, Intel's chip achieves more than 30% better performance running at only 1.1 GHz than Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 at 2.3 GHZ clock speed, which is currently the fastest chip based on ARM architecture available on the market. According to information available from the picture that supposedly shows the test results, the Intel chip achieved a score of 43,416 points on a system that drives Android 4.2.2, while the fastest-based system with Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 chip achieved 32,000 points.

Intel's Bay Trail chip should be based on 22-nanometer manufacturing process, and will have four Silvermont cores and it is expected to hit the markets in the last quarter of this year.
