Facebook buys up mobile application Moves

Facebook went shopping once again. After the $20 billion spent on WhatsApp and Instagram, to name just a bigger acquisitions, another mobile application - Moves, will be assimilated.

Moves is an application whose main ability is tracking a user's location. In addition, the application provides statistics showing the number of steps taken or mileage passed on the bike and all with the appealing interface along with a display on the map. With all the information it collects about its users, it will be certainly very useful to Facebook.

The application is currently available on iOS and Android. According to an official statement, they do not have a plan to integrate some of the functionality of Facebook and application will continue to exist.
