First BlackBerry 10 update

Blackberry has released the first software update for the BlackBerry 10 operating system. An upgrade is available to owners of BlackBerry Z10 devices and brings many software enhancements that the company has implemented based on the feedback and wishes of the users.

According to the official announcement, BlackBerry points out higher performance of applications, fixes in Gmail calendar and BlackBerry Hub, and improved managing of contacts and iPhone application, optimization of the camera, which now takes better pictures in low light conditions, and a better display of multimedia content within BlackBerry internet browsers.

The Upgrade brings over 60 Optimization in energy consumption, so users should now enjoy greater battery life. Software updates are delivered automatically (OTA) with prior notification, but the Z10 Blackberry users can also manually check the availability in the menu of the device. Size of the upgrade is 150 MB, and it will be available to everyone in the coming weeks, depending on the service provider.
