Google has released details regarding the next version of Android. This news has contains information on both hardware and software. As well as on tablets and smartphones, but there was little that was not known previously. Google has introduced a 10-inch tablet in the Nexus line, which Google will try to market to the budget crowd. As expected the device manufacturer is Samsung and will have a screen resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels with a density of 300 pixels per inch. The processor is a dual-core Cortex-A15, Mali T604 graphics, and a 9,000 mAh battery should provide up to nine hours of HD video playback. The rear camera has a resolution of five megapixels, while the front is 1.9 megapixels. The suggested retail price for a 16-gigabyte version in the U.S. is $400, while the 32GB model sells at a price of $ 500.

Google also presented a new smartphone, the Nexus 4 manufactured by LG. The device is based on the LG’s Optimus G. The screen has a diagonal of 4.7 inches; the processor is a 1.5-GHz quad-core Snapdragon S4 Pro, 8MP back, and 1.3-megapixel front camera. The 8 GB will be sold at a price of $300, while the 16GB model will cost $350 in the U.S. The battery will be able to charge using a wireless charger, similar to Touchstone's which used to be sold by Palm.

Android 4.2 was also officially presented, which will continue to ship under the name Jelly Bean, and will be a part of the Nexus 10 and Nexus 4. Two of the biggest improvements in the new edition of Android are certainly wireless picture display and sound from mobile phones pushed to televisions using a Wi-Fi connection. The new keyboard works "on the pull" of a finger over the virtual keys, which can distinguish words, similar to Swype. Some other apps were also improved, for example the application for the camera, and multiple user accounts on an Android tablet were also introduced. It's pretty much everything we already knew, beside the prices, but now it's all official.
