Google bought WIMM in secrecy

While we wait for the upcoming presentation of Samsung Smart watch, news that Google acquired a company that deals with exactly this area of technology leaked into public. The news are about WIMM Labs, which last year on their website announced that they became part of the exclusive and confidential business relationship and that they will stop development of their own production program.

Now we learned that the WIMM then passed into the ownership of Google, and that their employees are associated with the Android team that is supposedly working on the development of their Smart watch. This "new" acquisitions can contribute to giant such as Google not only with knowledge and technology for product development, but also with a software platform for smart watches based on Android.

WIMM in fact already created their own developer environment for the development of the so-called "micro app" application that would be specifically tailored for operating on small screens of wearable devices, such as smart watches.
