The option will supposedly work faster than classical recording by pressing a button or by issuing voice commands, and will work even when the screen of the device is turned off. Among other novelties, they enhanced the security of the device itself. Now it will be possible to set a password to lock the screen, so the owner of Glass can be sure that no one else can unlock and use his device, just as is the case with smart phones.
Glass will now support both sending and receiving messages via Hangouts, posting videos on YouTube, and will have enhanced controls for a music application. From Google also announced that they are close to the end of development of iOS applications, and in order to use it users will need to download the specified XE12 update first.

Google Glass to use a Wink to capture images

With the latest software update for Google Glass, tagged as XE12, Google introduced several novelties. To make easier for users to trigger images at any time, they added the ability to Glass so that the user can simply wink and give a command to take a picture.
