The Taiwanese Fair Trade Commission has launched an investigation last week against Samsung in order to determine whether the Korean giant in collaboration with their local marketing agency paid the students to post comments on the Internet harmful for the HTC.

According to small amount of information that was presented to the public about the investigation, Samsung is being investigated for "false advertising" and if Samsung is found guilty they could be fined a total of $835,000. After the launch of an investigation Taiwanese subsidiary of Samsung stopped all Internet marketing activities until further notice.

Due to the very little information rumors emerged that such campaigns have something to do with the previously rumored Samsung worried about how will potential buyers perceive plastic casing of Samsung Galaxy S IV compared with aluminum casing of HTC's new model One.
