Logitech gave up from giving up the unit in charge of developing and selling line of universal remotes by the name Harmony. Looks like they like to listen to their users and believe that they still have interest in this branch of devices.

Specifically, in January, Logitech announced that it intends to leave the business with a universal remote control. But now they announced that they will still keep this business due to the increased interest of users and unexpectedly good reception of the product Ultimate Harmony issued in April.

Logitech has also announced a new product in their Harmony line, called  Harmony Ultimate Hub, which converts the "smart" mobile phones based on iOS and Android into the universal remote controllers. That decvice and associated applications for mobile phones should be available during August at a price starting (in the U.S.) from $100.
