Mozilla launching a completely redesigned Firefox

Written by

Reading time is around minutes.

Mozilla recently launched a pre-beta version of Firefox called Aurora and brought a completely new user interface, greater customization of the touch screen, as well as some new features. Redesign project so far has been designed exclusively for the nightly version of Firefox, and it was in development for two years.

It is now scheduled that the new design should be implemented in the regular upgrade of Mozilla's browser available for all platforms and operating systems within next three months. Major changes in the design brings a user interface similar to what we have seen in Google Chrome, and the trademark Firefox icon is removed from the upper left corner. Instead, in the upper right hand corner comes the „Settings“ labeled with three horizontal lines, which opens up a huge menu obviously adjusted for work on a touchscreen.
