The whistle blowing site WikiLeaks has finally stepped over an imaginary line and annoyed Anonymous their one time protector. Although there has been rumblings in the community about the direction that WikiLeaks was heading in the collective was always ready to defend the site and by-proxy its owner Julian Assange. The straw that finally broke the relationship was the creation of a “paywall” that required you to donate or to share content from the site before allowing you to get to the rest of the site. The donations were not just intended to maintain the site either, but to support site owner Julian Assange and his mounting legal bills and living expenses. 

As expected the 2K Sport's basketball simulation has started to sell like crazy and has already set a record sales for this franchise. In the first week they managed to sell 49% more copies that the previous fastest seller NBA 2K11. They said that “This record-shattering growth is due in part to the expanding global popularity of the NBA 2K brand, which accounted for a 66 percent increase in international sales as compared with NBA 2K11”, but obviously that's not the only thing that helped.

Finally one company has decided to punish cheaters, and not only by disqualifying them but also fining them $30,000. Riot Games, a company that created one of the most played PC games ever The League of Legends, has made a decision after thorough investigation of the Korean team, Azubu Frost (AzF). They have been found guilty of unsportsmanlike conduct. This announcement came straight from Riot VP of eSports Dustin Beck “Based on our investigation, the Azubu Frost incident is the only one where we determined there to be tangible impact; we believe other members of AzF modified their gameplay based upon the information gained. We don’t believe, however, that these actions decided the winner of the game.”

Kido'z announced today that they will be bringing their popular kid-friendly media browser to the Android devices. The app allows kids to view and use only programs they are permitted and if parents are not into today’s mobile devices, Kido'z comes with a directory of pre-approved child safe apps so they can choose it quite easily. As smartphones and tablets are getting more popular and very simple to use, at least when you compare them to PCs, it completely normal that kids want to play on them too. So it was just a matter of time before someone brought this kind of software to mobile devices.
