NZ High Court Rules the FBI Should Not Have Posession of Dotcom HDDs, Denies Access to Encryption Keys

So, remember back when the FBI removed data that is was not allowed to search for from the home of Kim Dotcom, (that they were not really allowed to search)? Well if not we will sum things up for you here. Back when the US DoJ was really pushing the Mega Upload case the FBI convinced New Zealand law enforcement to execute a raid on the Dotcom house without a properly defined warrant. The reason it was not properly defined is that it did not spell out what they were searching for.

Far Cry 4 Will Have Lots of Women in it, You Just Can't Play One

Have you ever been in one of those situations where nothing you say will make things better? You know what we are talking about, you made the initial comment and now… well you just can’t fix it. This is about where Ubisoft is at the moment. After a developer and an art director made the claim that adding in playable female characters into Assassin’s Creed Unity, they have been trying to make things better and only making them worse.

Bear in mind that this was back when 800x600 was considered a pretty good resolution and 1600x1200 was what everyone dreamed of. Still that term was out there despite the simple truth that it was not really obtainable with the hardware and software that existed for the consumer market.

Razer's Christine Lacks OEM support and May Never See Daylight

It looks like Razer’s attempt to push into the PC market is not going exactly as planned. After showing off Project Christine at CES 2014 they are now admitting that they did not anticipate some of the complications they have run into. One of these comes from the fact that Christine is nowhere near ready to hit the streets. Razer is blaming OEMs for this issue, but in reality it is probably not completely their fault.

Microsoft drops the next phase of their marketing campaign to win back users

As we have reported on multiple occasions, Microsoft is working very hard to change the way that people see them. There are many reasons that they need to do this and it is a job that is not going to happen overnight. This has been a big part of what new CEO Satya Nadella has been doing since he took the top job at Microsoft. After changing the push for the Xbox One and Windows they are now trying to overcome the stigma dropped on them by Edward Snowden’s revelations of complicity with the NSA.
