Microsoft has finally released a driver that allows you to use the Xbox One Controller on a PC. For some this is big news and they have been waiting for it since shortly after the release of Microsoft’s latest console. For others this might not be such a big deal as you can simply use the older Xbox 360 controllers or buy a PC game controller if you really need to get your PC gaming fix (many PC gamers still use a keyboard and mouse).

You have seen them around, the guys wearing Google Glass and you know that you have to wonder if they are recording you or not. It is sort of creepy to see them out there, even when it is someone you know. When Google designed Glass recording video was one of the features they showed off and later developed even more. Granted Google Glass has a very limited storage on the device, but it can send images and video over the internet as well.

Imagine opening up a webpage when suddenly you see a notice saying all of your files have been locked. You have a limited amount of time to send a ransom or you will lose all of your data. This is what many people faced when the CryptoLocker Malware hit the PC world by surprise. Even now with many command and control servers down this threat still looms out there. Now imagine that instead of your PC it was your phone. The number of people that actually backup their phones in any real way is very small. A bit of malware like this could be disastrous to some.

Cast your mind back to mid-2009 and the now infamous Pirate Bay trial. If you remember this was a landmark case in the country of Sweden simply because it was out of pattern based on the Sweden’s laws and the way they had done business. The Pirate Bay founders were all found guilty despite not actually having hosted a single file on any of their servers and not having violated the existing laws in Sweden. However, due to having a judge that was an active member of a copyright protection group and a lead investigator that was trying hard to secure a job with a motion picture company the table was already set and the Pirate Bay gang was bound to be found guilty.
