Company Xi3 started taking pre-order for the console named Piston, one of the first Steam Box consoles optimized for Valve’s Steam. The console's design is similar to the company's computer X7A Modular Computer and it is located in a very compact housing with a distinctive design, and the great thing is that console’s hardware can be upgraded.

The basis of the system is made from AMD Trinity APU R-464L with four Piledriver cores running at 2.3 GHz base clock speed (3.2 GHz Turbo) and an integrated graphics processor Radeon HD 7660G with 384 stream processors. The system has 8 GB of DDR3 memory and mSATA SSD is available in capacities of 128, 256 and 512 GB. Piston Users will be able to connect to up to three monitors, and there are still many other connectors, such as eight USBs and HDMI output with a very low consumption of only 40 W.
