Samsung plans to launch another device at the upcoming Mobile World Congress trade fair. This time they will introduce an 8 inch version of their Galaxy Note tablet. There is no news on whether the device will support LTE or not. One thing is for sure though: this will rival Apple's iPad Mini with its diagonal of 7.9 inches.

The information was published on the SamMobile site, but the source of the information is still unknown. According to SamMobile, the Galaxy Note 8.0 should have an 8 inch 1280 x 800 resolution screen, a 5 megapixel rear and 1.3 megapixel front camera, 2 GB RAM, and 16 to 32 GB of internal memory with an expansion slot for additional memory capacity.

They also say that the tablet size is 8.3 x 5.4 x 0.3 inches, it will run the operating system Android 4.2, and the battery capacity will be 4600 mAh. As with all Note devices, there will be a built-in S Pen stylus.
