Reading time is around minutes.

Samsung's CEO J. K. Shin presented to the Korean media data about deliveries of Galaxy S 4. According to him, so far they globally shipped over 40 million units of this smartphone.

In the first month after the launch of the device Samsung shipped 10 million copies, and in four months, they delivered a total of 30 million copies. Despite this, sources close to the Korean manufacturer claim that the sales still do not meet Samsung's high expectations. To encourage even more sales, the company reportedly plans to introduce Galaxy S5 already in January, regardless of how strange it may seem, sources say.

Also, in the same interview Samsung's CEO said that they will collaborate with battery suppliers which should provide a higher level of quality and safety. So far, in more cases, customers reported popping batteries, and a number of them even experienced battery explosion.
