Samsung launches the ATIV SE for WP8

Reading time is around minutes.

After Microsoft announced the acquisition of Nokia, the question about interests of other manufacturers for Windows Phone seemed pretty justified. Samsung continues to remain a partner, and now they have introduced a new device. From the specification, it will have a processor (model not known) with four cores working at 2.3 GHz, 2 GB of RAM, 13 -megapixel resolution camera and removable battery of 2600 mAh.

Screen diagonal is five inches and the resolution is 1080p. Built-in storage capacity of 16 GB can be expanded with microSD memory card. In order to offer the device as soon as possible, Samsung has decided to launch it with Windows Phone 8 and then upgrade it to version 8.1 later.

Since Microsoft now offers WP operating system for free, decision whether to offer or not Windows Phone will be significantly easier for other manufacturers too. Given that the requirements for the hardware buttons are removed, all devices with Android will also support Windows Phone, which will allow even easier entry into this market.
