Samsung plans to introduce a new model of UltraHD TV at CES in 2013, the screen diagonal will be an impressive 85 inches (216 cm), which is an inch bigger screen than the competition from LG. So far it is not known when Samsung will bring their T  to the market and for what price (LG's model costs $ 20,000).

Samsung described their new TV as the world's largest UltraHD LED TV that is commercialized and apparently the CES Jury liked the television. They awarded it with the prize for best innovation. Samsung also picked up another award for the best innovation for the Smart TV Camera and overall the evaluation court honored the Korean company with even 27 awards for innovation [How about that Apple? –Ed. The Smart TV Camera normally supports Full HD resolution, a "smart interaction"(operating your TV using gestures) and can recognize the faces of users.

Besides huge resolution and dimensions, it will also feature LED backlighting and a “powerful and dynamic” integrated audio. 4K or UltraHD TV's will certainly be one of the most anticipated things to come to the next CES, and according to CEA specifications an UltraHD display must have at least 8 million active pixels with a resolution of 3840x2160. The price for this new Samsung TV has not yet been announced, but it is expected to be around $25,000. That is a lot for a TV, but it's more of a show-of for buyers with deeper pockets.
