Sony brings middle tier Xperias

Earlier this year Sony introduced a flagship smartphone called the Xperia Z, and now he's joined by two middle-class devices. The first is the Xperia SP driven by dual core processor with a clock speed of 1.7 GHz and 4.6 inch diagonal screen resolution of 720x1280 pixels. All of this is put in a compact body made of aluminum. One of the most interesting informations is that SP will have support for LTE networks.

Xperia L is slightly weaker device based on the processor with two cores running at 1 GHz with a screen diagonal of 4.3 inches and a resolution of 480x854 pixels. On this model there will be no support for LTE networks. Sony XPERIA L in the foregrounds puts stabilized camera with a resolution of eight megapixels based one Exmor RS technology.

Xperia SP and L will run on Android 4.1 Jelly bean and will come in black, white and red versions. Both phones support STAMINA mode, battery saving mode that extends the time between charging the device. Xperia SP and L are expected to be on sale during the second quarter of the 2013.
