Phablets pushing out tablets
The company IDC announced this week that the deliveries of tablets in the 2014 were worse than expected, primarily due to the rise in popularity of smartphones with big screen (phablets). New revised forecasts now claim that by the end of this year will be supplied 245 million tablets (previous forecast predicted the delivery of 260 million tablets).
Samsung Galaxy Note 4 to arrive in September
Samsung will release their new phablet in September, atleast that's what sources of Android geeks say. According to specifications, the product should be similar to the Galaxy S5.
HP's phablets for the Indian market
HP has announced plans to re-enter the market of mobile phones and tablets. As things stand now, there are two models, both designed for the Indian market.
New colors for Samsung's Note 3
Samsung looks for a new way to attract even more buyers to get their famous smartphone Galaxy Note 3. This time they decided to present a refreshed versions of it, so from this month beside standard black, white and pink colors we will be able to get the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 in three additional variants.
5 million Galaxy Note 3 Phones shipped
That demand for phablets is certainly present, once again was shown by deliveries of Samsung devices. In the first month of sales, the Galaxy Note 3 was shipped in over five million copies, according to Samsung.
HTC Sense 5.5 coming soon
Although they have not announced the exact date when they will let users upgrade to Sense 5.5, HTC says that this will happen very soon. According to rumors from various internet portals new upgrades can we expect when HTC has finished upgrading the Android operating system to the latest 4.3 version.

According to Reuters, Apple is working on a whole range of variations of the iPhone for the next year. They mentioned a variety of colors, so we wont have just black and white as it is now, and devices should come with screens of 5.7 and 4.7 inches, which should compete with Samsung's smartphones, which in this segment has much greater success than the iPhone since mid 2012.

New Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 runs on Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean), has a 7 inch touchscreen display in WSVGA resolution (1024 600 pixels, 169 PPI), and contains a 1.2 GHz dual-core processor and 1 GB of RAM.
Samsung Galaxy Megas
Samsung today officially unveiled two new mobile phones in the category of so called "phablets". So it is neither phone nor tablet - or - if you prefer - both phone and tablet. It is, in fact, the devices with screen diagonal of big 6.3 or 5.8 inches, which is called Samsung Galaxy Mega 6.3 and Samsung Galaxy Mega 5.8. Not to mix them with a series of notes, as they do not come with the S Pen stylus.
1 million Note 2 devices sold in Korea
It seems that smartphones with big displays are getting more popular. As you might expect, Samsung as the founder of this market segment it absolutely dominating, Galaxy Note 2 sales are going very well, and customers are crazy about the device in Korea [They are also crazy about it in the US – Ed].
